Services and Procedures
* Echocardiography
This exam produces images of the heart which detail the structure and functioning of the heart muscle and valves. The scan requires 45 minutes.
* Arterial Doppler Studies
This is an ultrasound exam of the arteries located in your arms or legs. High frequency sound waves are used to obtain images of structures inside the body. Ultrasound imaging can help the doctor see and evaluate arterial blockages and insufficiency.
* Carotid Ultrasound
This exam produces images of the heart which detail the structure and functioning of the heart muscle and valves. The scan requires 45 minutes.
* Renal Ultrasound
This procedure images the kidneys and renal arteries. Color and Doppler are performed. This test takes about 45 minutes.
* Abdominal Aorta Ultrasound
This exam evaluates the abdominal aorta and all associated vessels. This includes color and Doppler. This procedure takes about 30-45 minutes.
* Treadmill Stress Testing
This process detects evidence of a blockage in the heart arteries while exercising on a treadmill. This test is usually 30 minutes.
* Exercise Stress Echo
This procedure images all segments of the heart muscle. Color and Doppler are used with this procedure. This test lasts about 45 minutes.
* Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) Test
This Ankle-Brachial Index test screens for peripheral arterial disease of the legs. In requires about 30 minutes.
* Holter Monitoring
These monitors are worn over a specified time period to provide information about heart rate, the frequencies of beats and any irregularities.
* Venous Doppler Studies
A Venous Doppler test is an ultrasound that uses sound waves to create a picture of your blood flow. The most common use of this test is to search for blood clots and to asses for venous diseases.
